Hotel in Shiraz, Iran

Shiraz Skyline

We’ve talked about most of the important tourist cities of Iran, their attractions, and the best hostels in those cities. However, no matter how much we may prefer staying in a hostel to other places of accommodation, and no matter how much we talk about the many benefits of doing so, there will always be people who just prefer staying in a hotel. It’s simply a matter of personal preference, so, not wanting to alienate anyone who reads our blogs, we’re going to list some of the best Shiraz hotels in this article, with the hope that it will help you figure out your accommodation in this important destination easily.

Shiraz Hotels Vs. Shiraz Hostels

It’s a bit difficult to talk about this subject without repeating ourselves over and over again. Still, it’s rather important to talk about the differences between hotels and hostels. You can basically expect the same services you get in a hotel in Shiraz from a hostel in the city, but at a lower price, and at the stake of sharing some of the amenities with other guests. Not only are Shiraz hostels as good as most hotels when it comes to the services they provide, but they also offer a more social environment for their guests, making it easier to meet new people and make new friends along your journey.

All of that said, there are still some people who would just prefer a bit more privacy, people who aren’t necessarily looking to enhance every part of their journey and would rather have maximum comfort. Staying in a hostel is an experience on its own, but for those who just want a room to sleep in, Shiraz hotels may be a better option.

There’s still one important factor that affects everybody’s decision-making when trying to choose the right place of accommodation: The price.

Price Range of Shiraz Hotels

Shiraz, like most cities in Iran, isn’t an expensive city for tourists. You can find a room for as cheap as 6-7 Euros per night in a hotel in Shiraz, and even if you want to splurge, and even if you want to stay in a fancy 5-star hotel, you’re still not going to pay all that much.

If the price is the deciding factor for you, getting a dormitory bed tends to be the most affordable (and reasonable) option, since in a hotel, you can basically completely lose the quality of accommodation when you look for the cheapest available option. Still, if privacy is of the utmost importance to you and staying in a dormitory is simply not an option, perhaps a cheap hotel wouldn’t be such a terrible idea.
